We have two of these lights in our pool that was installed installed 4 years ago.
We have used the lights for maybe 15-20 hrs a season only.
Over the weekend, I noticed dirty brownish water in the light in the shallow end of the pool. Removed the fixture to the pool deck and saw that the bulb had water in it!! I put the fixture back in as there was nothing I could do.
We turned on the lights later at night and they were both working. However, about 10 mins later the one in the shallow end started to flicker and some of the LED's went out. then it died.
The bulbs are from Consolidated Pool and Spa - Consolidated Pool and Spa Industries
They are rated at 50,000 hours and have only 2 year warranty.
Any suggestion on a replacement bulb? Should I change both or only one? The local pool store wants $330 + tax for one bulb
