Question about Palm trees. Too close to the Pool?

We built this pool about three years ago and planted the two palm trees in the pics after it was completed. I'm wondering if they will cause a problem as they get bigger. I think they are Mexican Fan Palms. The two pics attached shows the edge of the trunk is about a foot away from the Flatwork and about 8 feet away from the pool walls. The pool is a steel wall vinyl liner. We were thinking we may try and transplant them in a safer area. I'm worried about them damaging the concrete or the pool walls. Any thoughts or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any help.

Are those Mexican Palms? If so, we know they can get 70-100 ft high. The good news is that their roots generally grow down versus out. They remain within a couple feel of the trunk, and go down about 3-4 ft. If you know those are a different type of palm, let us know.

By the way, I'm driving to Central Texas this evening around midnight to "acquire" your gate and fencing. Please have all dogs put away for the night, alarms off, and guns on safe. Ha ha. Goodness I love that look. :goodjob:

Thanks for your quick reply. I just edited the original post to say I believe they are Mexican Fan Palms. If they get that big the trunk size may damage the nearby concrete. (plasma cutters are a lot of fun) Thx.
