My pump is 15 years old and I am wanting to plan for a replacement. I like this pump as it is fuss free. It just runs great. I only need to run 7 hours at night during cheap electricity and my pool stays clear. It runs my pop ups fine. Are there other fuss free options out there. Thank you

Bring that baby into new tech the easy way :)

Grab you a V green VS 1.65 motor and get a new salt or SCS Seal and a rebuild kit for your pump and go another 15 years (y)

Call inyo and find out if you have a round or square flange motor..

Thank you. I don't know why I need all that when I only have to run my pump a short time.

not sure what you mean by "all that" The seal is used when you pull you pump apart to replace the motor and the kit will bring all your o rings for the pump... As for the VS motor they will save massive amounts of money even if it is only used 7 hours...

Replacing the motor would be the easiest way to keep the pump you like and that is what you asked for, unless I read your question wrong and you want to buy a whole new pump??

A new VS pump would be best then :)
I don't get how a VS pump would help me. I think I need full speed to run my pop ups and floor vacs. If I run for 8 hours and night full speed, what schedule would I run on a VS that would save me enough money to warrant the expense. I can replace my motor for $175 locally in AZ. Appreciate your knowledge on this matter.
