pump is loud, time to replace?

so I have a variable speed pump HAYSPX3220Z2MER which the sound is a bit loud, it's like 6 years old. Is it time to replace or let it run until it dies? is there a part that I can replace to reduce the noise? It's working just a bit load and I am afraid it bothers the neighbor. Also if it needs to be replaced, can I replace it with a single speed pump as I can't find any store selling a similar pump. TIA.

That is actually a 2-speed motor rather than variable speed. ("Variable Speed" typically means it uses a VFD-variable frequency drive electronic control on a permanent magnet motor to have adjustable speeds from some lowest speed like 300rpm up to 3450rpm).

That's in your favor. Variable Speed drives and motors tend to be more expensive. 2-speed motors are a pretty common thing. A motor shop might be able to help. If it was noisy before it stopped, it might just need new bearings. If you do need to replace it, you can probably find a capable replacement. Looks like a 2.5 / 0.33 HP motor with 1.08SF, 56Y frame.

2HP 2-speed motors w/ 56Y frame are pretty common. I found a couple here:

A little lower power than your 2.5HP, but close enough that it probably wouldn't make much difference.

Your original motor had/has an amp rating of 12.4 max load. The Century B2984 has a max load rating of 11.0. The Emerson EB2984T has a max amp load of 9.2.
If you use the original impeller from your pump on either of those motors they will fail.
Hayward tended to use higher service factor/amp motors and using a smaller one is just asking for trouble. If you want to use the Century motor (which is a better motor than Emerson), get this as well to not overload it. Likely you will never notice the difference in performance.
You can't put that impeller on the Emerson, the motor will fail.
