Pump for Easy Set 650 gallon pool

I have an Intex Easy Set 8’ x 24” pool with an Intex C-1000 pump connected.
I’m not a fan of the pump and someone in another thread said it’s only slightly better than having nothing at all.
Any recommendations on a pump for this pool?

If you want to keep it simple, I'd stick with a basic Intex cartridge filter pump like this:

Two to three times the flow rate of your current pump. Plug and play. Get an extra filter and change at least daily while you're working to get your water clear, cleaning one while the other is working. Once things are cleared up you can probably swap weekly.
