Prevention of stuck ladder and rail

Hello,
We are getting ready to open our inground pool for the season. Every year the ladder and stair railing gets more and more difficult to remove at the end of the season. Is there any kind of preventive maintenance that I can do to prevent it? Would copper anti sieze or some sort of grease help?

I used to use white lithium grease on my last pool when I had metal rails, ladders and anchors. If you have plastic components, you could try silicone grease.

It's a recessed anchor socket with a wedge. I can break the wedge loose but the ladder remains stuck in the socket.

When my handrails and ladder got stuck in the anchors, I used a rubber mallet to break them loose from the anchors.
