Now that cooler temps are here (below 80), I’d like to change up the programming for my pumps and it’s scheduling.

Normally, the pump (Intelliflo VS) runs between 8pm - 5am (I got the “free nights and weekends” electricity plan), at about 2800rpm for a 22,000 gallon pool.

I haven’t been running my pool car (Legend 5500), because it needed a new booster pump. And now it does.

I’d like to program the pool to run at the lowest possible speed to get one turnover/day. AND, I’d like it to run for one hour at noon with the booster pump getting the cleaner to do its thing. The programming is via an Easy Touch Control Panel.

How slow can I go for the overnight? And will that affect its running at noon?

Why? Turnovers mean nothing

The only issue is that the skimmers usually have a lower bound where they will stop skimming. This is usually when the water goes around the sides of the skimmer weir door rather than over the top. So I usually recommend using that as a metric.

Why were you running at 2800 RPM? That is pretty high for any pool unless running a heater.

Ok, turnovers mean nothing - unless it’s football - just as long as water is moving. Got that.

Now the curveball, programming a pool ON cycle for 60 minutes to get the pool car to work as designed.
