I have had the Summer Waves (or Funsicle) pump/sand filter and motor for about 1 month with no issues (bought it used). Tonight, out of the blue, the motor is now clicking but it is still working and the water is still pumping through. I am not sure if this is fixable or something that I can troubleshoot.
- This type of pump does not have a basket, so it is straight intake from the pool to the motor and then to the sand filter.
- The intake has a filter screen on it, so no debris should have gotten in there.
- I have tried the air release and that doesn't fix it.
