Pool Lights not working

I was hoping someone might be able to assist me with a new issue I am having with my pool and spa light which I noticed last night weren't working.
I have a Pentair Easy Touch along with white led lights for the pool and spa which are only a few years old.
I notice the red light goes on when I hit Aux2 on the Easy Touch and it shows on in the Pentair App. I can even hear it click on and off on the app panel when I toggle it in the app. I checked the gfi and electrical panel and both look good. Even tried resetting the breaker.
I did notice that when I turn on the lights for the pool the green light turns on the the gfi and when I turn off the lights the green light goes off. Theres nothing plugged into that outlet. Not sure if that is normal for the gfi for the light to go on and off? I did try plugging in a light into the outlet and it worked.
Not sure what my might be?
The only thing that has changed recently is a contractor doing some other work on the main electrical panel. Not sure how he could have done anything that would affect the lights?
Everything else works fine, pump, spa, heater etc. just the lights are no longer working.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

B,

The main cause of a pool light not working is a popped GFCI outlet or Circuit breaker.

"Most" EasyTouch installs use the GFCI outlet mounted on the bottom left of the cabinet as the GFCI for the lights. I suggest that you plug something into that outlet to confirm it is actually working. Also confirm that that your system does not have a separate GFCI breaker for your lights.

If both your pool and spa lights normally come on at the same time, then it could also be a bad Aux relay. If the lights are individually controlled then it is doubtful that two relays would go bad at the same time.

Thanks,

Jim R.
