Pool level - how to check

Hello,
I had an above ground pool installed last summer. Its 12x24.. This year we noticed that the water level looks a little different on either side of the pool. The top of our liner has diamond shapes and the one side you can notice the diamond is smaller then the other due to the water levels.

I went around the pool with a tape measure and measured from top of water to lip of the wall overhang and at worst there is a 3/4inch difference.

Im not sure how accurate this check is as I assume the the pool wall overhang/ledges would have some unevenness to them.

I have a few questions:
- how do you accurately check the level of the pool and what is the excepted tolerance for agp level?
- also, the one side of the pool where its a little lower, the pool post seems to be a little on an angle(picture attached) All others are perfectly straight up and down. Not sure if this is due to the water level or just from the installation. (Dont mind the shed doors. Ill be replacing them soon) haha.

Any information would be helpful.

Water doesn't lie, do you certainly did have something settle since last year. We generally accept anything out of level up to about one inch. Anything more and there can be significant stress applied to one portion of the pool frame. It may not still be under warranty, but you can contact your installer to see what they think about that leg that's leaning inward. Your profile only says east coast, but if you close and lower the water level that may be a good opportunity to consider adjusting that leg if possible.
