Pool Deck Drain Repair - DIY?

Hey all! Noticed that my deck drain runner here on my patio has been deteriorating over the years. I've googled and everything I keep seeing is basically using an angle grinder/recip saw to take out the existing drain and replace it whole. Do they sell just essentially replacement top covers for this thing or do I have to rip it completely up and out and then replace it? It's 1.5in wide.

Any info would be great!

Lot of home fixing and diy-ing these past 2 months :)

Rip it out and replace. AFAIK those drain tops are not removable and replaceable.

There are better wider drains that do have removable covers but that is too late for your install.

So it is possible to cut out the existing drains and slide the new replacements in there? I was under the impression that since the concrete was poured around these drain channels, cutting them out was next to impossible.
