I see that the pool calculator has changed since last year! I like it, except for the fact that I’m not sure what to put in for the type of chlorine I am using. [emoji848]

Oh! I didn’t realize the pool calculator app wasn’t supported. It had an option for trouble feel pools values, so I just assumed it was okay to use. ?*??
How do I find the pool math calculator? Is it an app? I’m not seeing it st the bottom of the page?

Many moons ago TFP did use the PoolCalculator as it was originally created by JasonLion, former TFP Admin. As time went on the name exchanged hands yet TFP held a license for the code behind the page the entire time. After awhile TFP setup and updated the page you see here so we could make some updates to the math behind the scenes. Due to legal mumble jumble however we couldn’t call it the “Pool calculator” though so we went with “Pool Math” instead.....personally it sounds WAY cooler. :)

Last year TFP took another step forward and took the math behind the scenes and created the PoolMath App. This app allows users to save test results, weather conditions, chemical additions, plus we’ve got more planned in the future. We’re putting our knowledge into this and shaking our heads at others who are in it only for profit. We’re not trying to sell products laced with CYA and metals simply to make a buck. Any profits TFP sees from subscriptions (we do pay a developer and hosting fees) goes right into keeping the website Ad Free plus it allows TFP to create more content to teach TFPC, the system we all know works.
