Hi,

I need your help! I have a pentair easy touch and have an err on both the air and water temp. It's a simple saltwater pool setup, no heater, solar etc. I can obviously replace the sensors but find it troubling that both sensors went out at exactly the same time.

Any advise would be appreciated
Thanks

A-guy,

I too find it odd that both probes would go bad at the same time.

The most likely cause is that the connector for air and water temp sensors has become disconnected from the main card.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Check the sensor wire connections to the board. Someone may have pulled the wires while around the equipment pad.

Hi Jim,
Thank you so very much for the reply, you were 100% right. It was the connection to the board. The wires were connected correctly, but obviously someone had pulled on the words and the connector was not sitting on th spins correctly. There was a guy working in that area just prior to the problem, so call me suspicious but I kind of felt that the two occurrences might be related. Thank you for your help.
