So my old 3 wheeled Polaris isn’t working all that great, and I would like to upgrade to something that cleans better. I do currently have a booster pump. So I am trying to decide if I should stick with the booster, and get the Quattro, or go with the Polaris robot. Price is about the same for each.

I would recommend staying away from the 1970 tech in a pressure cleaner... way to much energy to do an ok cleaning and no scrubbing...

Some are having issues with the wheels on the Polaris leaving marks and not getting traction.. Go with Maytronics tracks as they actually grip the surface...

The lower S200 are just as good as the more expensive ones except the Active 60/M600 actually have upgraded pumps and scrubbers... all of these clean your pool for 20 cents for 2 hours of cleaning :)

I keep mine out and in the pool but I was wondering the same thing... I guess if you unroll it in the sun for a few minutes before putting in the pool it unwinds better and it did for me.. you can not get rid of all of it...

Mine did not get tangled at all when unrolling it...

Well, I went with the Polaris robot…now what is the best way to store the cord so it isn’t a tangled mess each time I need to uncoil it?
How do you like the Epic 8642 iQ? Was looking at a S300i or Active 30i with wifi and caddy but out of stock at Marina Pool and Spa. The 8642 iQ has all of the features I am looking for plus it is way less. Concerned about Polaris reliability.
