Polaris 280 rebuild or New 360

My Polaris 280 needs to be refreshed. The rebuild kit cost about $120 less than a new 360. The 360 says it doesnt need a booster pump. Would I be okay with getting a new 360? Will the 360 run better if the booster pump is running?

No & No. The 360 is designed to work with lower pressures and higher flow rates. The booster pump puts out higher pressure and lower flow rates like the 280 and 380 require.

Booster pump will destroy a 360. Rebuild the 280.
