Pleatco Availability

I believe the Pleatco brand is the preferred and recommended brand for cartridge filters here at TFP.
Unfortunately, I'm not finding any availability. So 2 questions...

1) Is there an alternate recommended brand?
2) Is this seasonal? Maybe availability will improve in the next 30-60 days?

Pleatco was acquired by Pentair. I think they have changed their distribution.

They are available individually on doheny - just not in the 4pk for the reduced price.
The optimum brand is an alternative several here have used
