Has anyone faced a plaster shortage? Our PB in DFW claims that our initial color from SGM isn’t shipping (they can’t ship anything due to labor shortages) and now NPT medium blues are all but sold out.

Everything is suffering a shortage. I cant even get my pool that I contracted for in August because of resin shortage. Just be patient. This is not your builder's fault. I've braced myself to not even break ground until next year.
Meanwhile my friend that live 15 miles away from me is completing her pool next week and started almost two months after us.
Doing a remodel in South FL, just needed to replace the tile, lights and plaster. We started in Feb, plaster and lights are nowhere to be found. The title we picked were not in stock so we had to put whatever tile they had available.
I have no doubt there is a shortage now but your PB should have locked the product in a long time ago. It’s probably what the PB did for the project you are taking about.
