Hello, I purchased a house with the pool already installed and the old owners still haven’t given us the password to the pentair intelligence controller. How do I “reset” the system or gain access to control the functions on the application? Do I need to call pentair or is it something I can do?

You can connect Locally with no password via the app or desktop application. You need a password to connect Remotely.

What type of system is this - Intellicenter or a ScreenLogic?

Tyler,

Tell us more about the specific system you have. Do you have an EasyTouch, IntelliTouch or the new IntelliCenter.

Are you trying to get into the main outside unit and need a password to get the outside unit to work, or do you have a program called ScreenLogic on your phone or PC and need a password to get it to work.

If you don't know for sure what you have, just post some pics of your equipment.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Great. I suspect you are connected Locally. That is fine, most do not need to have Remote access anyway.

Tyler,

There are two ways to connect. Local (WiFi) and Remote (phone)

If your phone's WiFi is on, ScreenLogic should say "connect to local adapter" and show " Pentair FC-xx-xx" in blue. If you push the blue link you should connect to your system.

If your phone's WiFi is off, ScreenLogic should say "Connect to remote adapter".. Pushing the Blue "Pentair FC-XX-XX", will connect you to your system using the phone, so you can do this from anywhere. But.. if you have set up a remote password, it has to be entered into your phone (the first time) using the "edit/add/delete" line and then using the pencil icon.

You can just use your PC and go into the ScreenLogic set-up page #1 and set up "Remote password" to what you want.

Thanks,

Jim R.
