Pentair Screen Logic - No connection

Screenlogic was connecting fine a few days ago, and then out of no where it is connecting. I have checked the antenna outside and I do not see any lights. The indoor equipment has lights, but no blinking RX or TX lights are showing up .... Just a fast blinking (green) power light. Any ideas how to test for power or get this working on my own without calling the pool company who always says something is "my" fault?? Literally haven't touched anything with automation or anything to do with the screen logic system. Will not connect locally or remote.

Jay,

Have you had any lightning lately?

Either your outside transceiver is bad, or your main board has lost its RS-485 port.

The first thing to do, with the system in AUTO, go look at your pump's display and confirm it says, "Display not Active". If it does, that is great and means your main card has a good RS-485 com port.

If the pump does NOT say Display not active, then the next thing to do is disconnect everything connected to your Main Board J20 port, except your IntelliFlo.

With just the IntelliFlo connected, and in the Auto mode, look at your pump's display, if it now says Display not active, that means something is loading your RS-485 port, most likely the outside transceiver.

Thanks,

Jim R.

This is all I am seeing on the screens once everything is in Auto ... am I missing where to see "Display not active"?? Also ... not much lightning that I can remember at all. But we have had a good bit of rain and a random snow storm that is very abnormal for us here in the south!

Jay,

Your signature says you have an IntelliFlo, but your pump appears to be an SuperFlo VS, which does not have the same kind of display.

That said, the "Ext" light is on, so that should indicate that the EasyTouch is controlling it.

If true, that means the main board is ok and points to your outside transceivers.

Thanks,

Jim R.
