Wondering if there is much difference in the Pentair transformers in the dedicated SCG Load Center (521441) vs the one mounted inside an Intellicenter (520722)?

Seems both take 120/240 VAC and step it down to ~39VAC.

I know the surge PCBs are different between the load center and the intellicenter, but could one transplant the load center transformer into an Intellicenter?

Wiring configs on the input side for 120/240 look to be the same

The Power Center transformer is physically larger. You need to see how it fits in the load center. Electrically they are identical.

Let us know what you figure out.

Thanks for that info.

Hmmmm, not sure what to make of those dimensions. The Intellicenter load panel is only has a depth of 4 inches inside the panel, so not sure if that measure is for the packaging or the transformer.

I'll keep researching.

Thanks!

The larger 521441 SCG power center transformer is only 3.5" tall. It does fit, but you have to monkey with the bracket to get the holes aligned to the Intellicenter holes.

Wires are too short to reach the SCG Surge pcb, so will need to modify those.

but looks like it will work
