I'm not finding in the stack of manuals a clear model # for replacing a Pentair water temperature sensor that connects to our Intellicenter to regulate a Mastertemp spa heater. Is the correct model 520272? Is OEM a requirement or are there other contenders that would work just fine given how many I've spotted online. (I'm also looking for a longer cable version for cable management.)

Yes.

No.

Pentair, Jandy, Hayward all use the same 10K air and water sensors.
