Pentair Magicstream Laminar Adjustments

As subject says I have the Pentair Magicstream Laminar's. I have two of them. Both appear to be hitting the edges of the hole where they shoot through the top cover. I do not appear to see any real adjustment on the side knobs, is there some type of trick to this? And also am I suppose to take them apart and clean anyfilters or anything in them?

Do you have a picture to show where it is touching. Normally the cover can be adjusted (toward the left or right) to avoid it being a problem.

How? As far as I know the cover just screws in at each side

If it's not spraying properly the housing lid is probably not properly aligned for the stream path to clear the slot in the lid. You can try adjusting that first to make sure the path from the orifice clears the slot in the lid. From time to time the laminar orifice can also get clogged with debris. This can cause poor flow quality. If you remove the housing lid and laminar unit and disconnect the supply union you can spray a garden hose over the jet nozzle to clean it out.
