Pentair IntelliFlo VSF 3 - power outage, now three flashing lights

Experienced a brief power outage, really a flicker. Noticed schedule was showing running on my app, but pool equipment wasn’t. Checked pump. The “connect”, “on/stop”, and “quick clean” buttons are all three steadily flashing blue/purple together. How do I reset this pump to get it back online again? Main panel is showing “no comm” and app is show “communication lost”. Leads me to believe internet issue.

I turned the breakers off then back on with no results.

Thanks!

TR,

Check out page 22 of this manual..

Not sure that will help, but it should be a start.

It appears that the pump is trying to display a fault number. The problem is that you need the Pentair app or an automation system or an optional display to see what the code is. (What could go wrong with that idea?)

How are you controlling the pump? Wi-Fi, Blue Tooth, or a Pentair automation system?

This is a new pump to most of us so it will be interesting to see where this thread takes us.

Also page 12 Device Setting, then Device reset...

Is the power to the pump connected to a surge protector?

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thanks, JR.
I finally remembered I had a main breaker in the garage apart from the sub panel and breaker on the EasyTouch. I reset the breaker and the pumps came back online. Then, the EasyTouch has no display. Flipped breaker off for several minutes, turned back on and all working just fine. These are very touchy systems…
