I got home last night and the pool pump wasn't running. The only thing wrong is the Electronics Low Voltage circuit breaker is popped. After resetting it pops again in about 2 seconds. Nothing visible wrong. Does this mean motherboard bad?

DF,

Welcome to TFP... A Great resource for all pool owners living in cities with unpronounceable names... :shark:

Could be the main board, but here is what I would do...

Drop the front panel down so you can get to the back of the main board.

Unplug all the relays and valves.. You might want to mark them so you know where to reconnect them.

With all the relays and valves disconnected, reset the breaker.

If the breaker still pops than I would suspect the main board...

If the breaker does not pop, then reconnect the relays and valves, one at a time and see if you can identify which item is causing the breaker to pop.

Thanks for posting,

Jim R.

It looks like the relays and valves have their own circuit breakers, so not sure my advice above makes as much sense???

Still, I would try to disconnect everything but the power (J1) to the main circuit card.... with nothing but power connected, if the breaker pops it has to be the main circuit card.
