After much consideration, we have decided not to go with Doughboy. It's just too much money!!
Has anyone heard of Pro Pools?( online)Good or bad.
I really want to stay with an oval 16' x 32'. My options are limited for this size.
They have a pool called the Oxford.

Please, Need Help

I asked this question on the Above Ground Forum but didn't receive any feedback. Has anyone bought or dealt with Pro Pools out of Nashville, TN (propools.com)? I am interested in a pool that they have online and I have searched this site and online and only found 1 review. I am worried spending money without knowing a bit more about the company and reading reviews.

Thank you for any help with this.

mommark, it's unfortunate no one replied to your first thread. But I had to combine the two because we the forum gets cluttered very quickly if we don't. Feel free to re-post to this thread to :bump: it back up for visibility. That's the best way to keep your thread visible. Hopefully someone with experience with that dealer will be able to get with you soon. Good luck!

Sorry about that, was trying to get my question out to anyone that could help me. I wish that I could find more information on Pro Pools other than the reviews that they have online on their site.

ford fanatic,
Thank you. Yes, I have looked at thepoolfactory. At this point, I have been trying to decide for 1 1/2 months now. I keep going back and forth, scared to press that final button for payment. The Chesapeake pool that I was looking at ProPools is a CaliMar, which is manufactured by the same manufacturer that makes Doughboy pools. It looks like a great pool, but I am not willing to purchase from ProPools unless I find more feedback regarding the company.
I have read great reviews about thepoolfactory, so with that being said, that is where I am leaning at the current moment. Of course, I have changed my mind numerous times. :)

We were scared to pull the trigger too lol, that's a lot of money to spend on a pool without knowing quality/customer service.

We originally were going to get a Doughboy from a local dealer, but between the pool and deck, we were looking at over $40K..! :drown:

I would order from the pool factory again tomorrow if I needed another pool. Again, good luck.

For no where near that you should be able to get the very best. Check out Medallion Pools. Not much of a website. But they are a local manufacturer in my area. Family owned. Get them to send you more info. Look for the Medallion St. Croix Freedom Series. This is what my next pool will be for an above ground.

This is a AG pool that has sections that bolt together and is stainless steel. Can also be use in ground. Looks very well made. Easy to install and looks so much better than anything I have seen.

What type of pool did you get?

We were on the fence since late last summer...we ordered early this spring and the pool is up, the contractors should be finishing up the deck this week.
Thanks for the reference though.

I just looked at the Pro Pools site and would have no problem ordering from them, they look fine to me (just my opinion of course). We bought a Lomart pool from Pool Supply World (Lomart is also made by the Doughboy company) and we love it, it's a fantastic sturdy pool and exactly like one of the Doughboy models in looks and specs.
