As part of our pool remodel is removing the worn-out Kool Decking and replacing it. The company I'm leaning towards offers something called OnDeck Basecrete system ONDECK - Waterproofing While they along with others offer the less expensive Acrylic Lace.

The OnDeck system has a 5 yr warranty while the Acrylic Lace has a 2yr.

Anyone have experience with the OnDeck system and whether it's worth the additional expense?

I'm not looking to go with tile or pavers as we've been happy with the Kool Deck (aside from it being worn out after 24 years).

Good morning. With no replies to your question, I guess either no one saw this particular question, or they have no experience with the OnDeck product. Did you ever more forward with a decision? If you still have questions, perhaps giving this thread some movement will help. The season is slowing down, but you never know who is watching.

I checked out the website since I’m in the market for something similar and it looks pretty new considering the website still have template text in a few places. Says it was created in Jan of 2022. That may be why there isn’t much feedback.

Yeah... still trying to decide. With a 5yr warranty vs the 2yr for Acrylic lace, that tells me something. But... I've also been told that as long as I rinse down the acrylic lace and repaint annually (with the right stuff) it will be fine, too...
