NPT StoneScapes Aqua Cool Mini Pebble color variation

Hey all, new pool owner here. I just had my pool plastered and filled about 3 days ago. I ended up going with NPT StoneScapes Aqua Cool Mini Pebble and the water color turned out much different than NPT's web site and other videos I've seen. I attached two photos, one of the plaster without water and one of the pool 3 days after it was filled. I know NPT states that you should expect a variation, but this looks like a pretty different color to me (more green and less blue). Is this normal? Can I expect the water color to change that much as the plaster cures? The only things I can think of are that a) I haven't seen it on a sunny day yet, b) there appear to be fewer blue pebbles (and more yellow/brown) in the aggregate compared to the photo on NPT's web site, and c) it's only been a few days. Thanks in advance!

Hey Cyrite.... yes, the color normally changes over from greenish to more blue (in various shades) in the first week.

Don't forget to register your finish with NPT your pool.

My pool was plastered and filled on April 10.
I have the same Stonescape color you do and I also thought it had a green tint to it when it was completely filled. A twice daily brushing was recommended and the green tint has lessened over the last 10 days. The color I see now is much closer to blue than green.

The aggregate does not appear very white. Here is a close up of a Stonescapes with white rock and glass for reference. The white rock in your pool should look similar.

Thank you all! I wanted to provide an update on this in case any other new pool owners run into the same problem. It did indeed change color over the first few weeks and is a beautiful bright shade of blue now!
