No power to hot tub pump -

Hi,

Topside panel reads PSoL or (PSoH when pump button is pressed). Does not change pump state.
No power to harness that goes to pump.
I do have power 240v coming in.
Resetting breaker just sends the spa through startup but still displays the flow error, and pump still doesn't run.
Manipulating the flow switch removes error message, heating light comes on but pump does not run.
What could e going on here? Any help greatly appreciated.

Can you tell us the model of the spa and controller? It helps in figuring the wiring out.

Also have you determined where the power is stopping? I know you said that you have incoming power, but is power getting to the relays? Can you hear the relays clicking when you try to start the pump?

Red,

Not sure about your specific spa, but many of them test for an open pressure switch at start up and then for a closed pressure switch after start up. This prevents someone from hot wiring the switch the switch.

Could also be an air lock.. If my tub is empty and I add water into the body of the tub, instead of into the bottom of the filter bay, it will sometimes cause an air lock that prevents the pumps from getting water and of course running. To fix this issue I had to drain the spa again and then add water the correct way...

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thank you for the response.

Acura Spa systems power master 3002
I do not hear the relays. I am not certain where the power is being interrupted.

Thank you for the response.
I dont think it is an airlock....would that stop power from reaching the pump?

I read the manual and the only thing it says about not getting power to the pump is to replace the control board.

It's hard to tell from that picture what's going on. Did you actually test for voltage at the terminals on the board when you pressed the pump start button?

I think I'd call Acura and see if they'll help you troubleshoot it. If you do, please post back what you find.
