Newbie hot tub owner ?

Hi all. Just joined the site and thought I'd introduce myself. My names Chris. I recently bought a second hand Catalina spa 6 seater hot tub. Done a lot of repairs to it and it's nearly perfect. Just got a few controller issues at the moment (babola gl8000). I'm sure it's the dip switch's or something as we had everything working but. Problems now are two things :

Fibre optic doesn't work if you put the dip switch 4 on and causes buttons to be in the wrong configuration as well as the blower doesn't work.

Also their is 2 pumps. 1 pump is two speed and acts as a filter. We had it all working but been playing about with the dip switchs but the filter pump (pump1 low speed) doesn't run sometimes when the heater is running and causes it to show low flow or heater dry.

I have a diagram on the back of the gl8000 but their is other diagrams online that show different settings. Does anyone know much about the balboa systems ? Long shot I know lol

I'm not much help on the Balboa systems, but they are pretty common controllers across many brands of hot tubs. Sounds like you have a lot of trial and error to do on the switches. Only question is why you think it would be dip switches and not a hardware error? Was the spa working fine before you got it or always had issues? Did you change voltage?
