New Swim Spa

I have a new 16' Swim Spa being delivered today. I've googled Dichlor and am a little confused on what to purchase. I took care of my full size pool successfully in Texas using Bleach, Baking Soda and Muriatic Acid according to Pool Math. I want to make sure things are as simple for a Swim Spa as it was for the pool. I'm in North Carolina now.
Any help or advice is appreciated!

Which Dichlor should I get - there are brands and variations. I liked the Pool Math where I could just buy bleach, baking soda without having to choose from a variety of blends.

Do the same as you did for your pool.
You will need 30 ppm of CYA.
Assume this will be a covered swim spa, at least most of the time.

Thanks so much. It will be covered. I didn't use any dichlor at all with my pool, just the occasional SLAM.

It is the same process as a pool with the following things to note.

1) It is a much smaller body of water, so small changes in chemical additions can have a much larger impact than you are used to. You need to be more exacting with your measurements.

2) The aeration of the jets will naturally cause your pH to drift up. You can correct this with acid, just as with a poll. Just don't be surprised when it keeps drifting up for a while.

3) You don't mention if you have an ozone generator or not. If you do, be aware that ozone consumes FC. So if your FC keeps dropping and you can't figure out why, it may be your ozone.

Check out the sticky and use effects of adding to see what a dose of dichlor does in your spa. Then keep track of the CYA additions until you get to 30. Recheck in about a month with the higher temps in a spa the CYA depletes faster than a pool.
