We just finished the majority of our stock tank pool project and are really enjoying this small size - just right for the two of us.
  • added water from our well with a water filter on the hose
  • added the salt (for the fill level of our tank)
  • waited 24 hours then set up the saltwater system (per the instructions)
  • waited 24 hours then took the first test strip (came with system)
  • waited 24 hours then did another test strip (using the EasyTest strips highly rated on Amazon)

Now, I'm just not trusting my own reading of these.
Any thoughts from the more experienced would be appreciated!

Welcome to TFP.

Toss your test strips in the trash. They are never accurate or reliable.

You can maintain your small pool like…

Or get a full TFT Test Kits

Welcome to TFP! Test strips are highly inaccurate. If you intend to keep your stock tank long term, invest in a good drop test kit. I personally have been using the K-2006 for years since that’s what I originally started with years back. I still use it with my current stock tank set up. You can also get one offered here. Make sure to get one that includes salt testing. Hope this helps! Report back once you have your kit.
