My cell went out last summer and as of right now there don't seem to be any out there. Does anyone know if and when these will come available, and if they won't come available do I switch to a different SWG system? I don't have mine hooked into any automation. I am on Marinas list to call if she gets some in, but if they don't come I have to have a back up plan in place. My pool is somewhere in the low 40k gal size if I remember correctly. Thanks Hans

So like many others, when you go to the website it looks as if its in stock. When you call them you find out its on backorder and they don't know if it will be weeks or months before it will be available.
Yes, that was my experience with them. You really do have to call in and check stock on everything first. I did get some equipment through them, but last I heard was July-Sept for the IC60. Polytec pools has always had accurate info on their website. If it shows in stock, hurry and order it. They've been really good to order from in that regard. Plus I'm relatively close to them, so shipping is fast for me too

I don't know anything about that system, but Discount Salt shows aftermarkets in stock. Shows 2 year warranty.
ok, I am about at the point where I am thinking about going to traditional chlorine until the salt cells become available. Has anyone done this?? The other option is to get an IC40 but my pool is over 40k gal. Any thoughts??

As your pool is covered with an autocover, the IC40 should be sufficient. It would be nice to know the actual volume of your pool, as that is not in your signature.
@hdeters Polytecpools has them in stock right now. They usually go quick, but do seem to get them regularly.
