I’m having a difficult time deciding on the quartzscape color to use. I like the more gray to dark colors but we are going to have a pretty prominent sun shelf. I need a color that will not look like cement on the sun shelf. My husband likes Barbados blue but I think it is too blue. Can you please show me your pictures of your sunshelf with quartzscape? Thanks!

Hopefully, some other people will provide picks. I can only tell you about my experience because we just finalized our color choice - Barbados Blue - this weekend. Originally, I wanted really dark - like the Curacao Night or Anvil. I liked the super dark water color from those - more lagoonish looking. But our pool is going to be fairly shallow and we realized at times depending on light, people might be looking through clear water and seeing the actual finish and we wanted them to see blue, not black/gray, at those times. So we decided to go with Barbados Blue because it seemed to be the deepest richest blue without using a gray/black finish.

There were a number of pics on the NPT website of Barbados blue in a pool with a sun shelf. Outside of their website, it was very difficult to find many pictures or videos. There are a couple of vids on YouTube, but I don't think any of those pools had a sun shelf.

I did also watch this video: Swimming Pool Water Color - Dark Pool Finishes - YouTube - which is a not by NPT and isn't specifically about Quartzscapes, but does a good job of explaining the things you want to consider if you want to use a dark color pool finish. It helped me make my decision.
