Thank you so much!, we have managed to get things running (we think we are on the right track at least, but we just ran into an issue, which I posted here, any advice:

Opening pool - backwash pipe has water coming out while pump is on filter

We are opening our pool ourselves solo for the first time. We have the winter plugs removed and the valves open (we think in their correct spots!). The pool is currently running on filter, but there is water coming out of the pipe that is connected the filter. I have attached photos. The pipe...

Is it just dribbling out? The guy who opened my pool last year said it may happen initially and to put the winter plug back on it. Eventually it stopped. Hope this is the case for you.
