I am rebuilding our concrete bulkhead against a water canal. I'd like to install multiple (around 12 so far) 10 inch underwater LED pool lights evenly spaced along the wall. I'd like to avoid spending almost $1,000 each for a Pentair LED pool light. All the videos I have search use an existing waterproof light housing (maybe old halogen or led styles) for repairs or replacing the bulbs. Since I am building fresh, where can I source the actual waterproof housing and niche I assume. I have also seen 'super shallow' LED pool lights that intended to be surface mounts with no niche.
My challenge is I need to be able to DIY the actual 'light' to support my home automation efforts so I can't use Pentair, Goldlife, etc that are LEDs but don't allow me to control with other home automations. I can do that part easily, based on the DIY LED Pool light video below. I just need the water poof enclosures and if possible a 50 ft electrical line attached (I can work with 3 wire but prefer 5 wire if its available).
