I've been using Arctic Armour winter pool covers for about 20 years. I usually get about 3 or 4 years out of them and then need to get a new one due to delamination of the cover. I know 3 or 4 years is not a lot but unfortunately I look at AG pool accessories like covers to be just functional for a minimal amount of time. In those 20 years I've had to use their warranty 2X, the first time about 6 years ago and the second just this week. On Monday our area got hit with gusty winds and my cover just shredded in one area, the cover is less than 2 years old. I contacted Blue Wave which owns the brand with a photo of the damage and asked if they would honor the warranty. They got back to me today and said they would as long as I can show proof of purchase, which I did.

I have to pay the shipping of the new cover but it is less than purchasing a new cover, the first time they just sent me a new cover... times change.

I've recommended them in the past although I think their material quality has gone down a little from years ago. But they stand behind the warranty, I didn't expect them to say yes with the way and the reason the cover was destroyed.

I ordered the replacement cover, should be here by the end of next week. Cost me less than $30 for the replacement, I couldn't have bought a winter cover for that price.
