Muriatic Acid Application

How many times per day can I add Muriatic Acid? I'm seeing scaling on the beach ledge wall and the steps. I know CYA is low and added 1.5 cups of dry stabilizer today but am coming off of CYA over load from last year and adding a little at a time... thanks in advance for your help
