Moving water from spa to pool and back

Hello everyone. I have a pool and spa that is separated by a spillover. How do I send (via controls) the hot water that is in the spa to the pool to raise the temperature of the pool and vise versa? I can manually flip the automatic valves to do it, but it seems like I should be able to do this with the ScreenLogic app.
I am also confused by the "spa side remote" and "spillway" buttons. Do their setting affect what I'm trying to accomplish?

Spillway takes water from the pool (suction) and returns it to the spa (return). Which then spills over into the pool.

Why not just heat the pool?

After I'm in the spa at 95 degrees, I'd like to send that hot water to the pool which may be colder than I like. I don't want to waste the energy (hot water).

Can the EasyTouch control my two valves (pool/spa drain, pool/spa returns) independently?

77,

The only way the EasyTouch can do what you want is in the Service mode, when you can manually turn on and off the spa fill and drain modes.

That said, you are just way over thinking this. I doubt the "hot" spa water will affect the temperature of the pool so that you will even notice, but the simplest solution is to just switch to the Pool mode. I suspect that in the pool mode your spa continually spills over into the pool. In doing so, it is taking cold pool water and putting it into the spa. I doubt it will take but a few minutes before the spa is at the pool temperature. This is exactly the same as dumping all your spa water into the pool.

Thanks,

Jim R.
