mastic questions

I need to mastic after staining and grouting my deck.
Questions:
1. Should I do it myself or hire someone. I've done caulking, bathrooms, etc. but not mastic I've done everything else on the pool so far myself (but next week pros are going to resurface it.)
2. I read here that Sikaflex is not rated for chlorine and pool applications, true or false?
3. I have some uneven edge spots. Self-leveling or not?
4. And what's the best product for me to use if I do it myself, or even for a pro to use?

Sikaflex 1a is rated for pools and one of the best options out there.. This is for the tile side and is non sagging.. They also have self leveling options..
