“Lost Link” on Aquaconnect

I have tried many things to get this resolved. Rebooted, retaught learning, performed satisfactory range test, examined all lights on device behaving as they should.

I can not connect over WAN. On LAN I can connect and control pool but the iPhone app and web interface both do not work.

I would love to get this working again. The RF light is on, the TX light is flashing, the RX light flashes and the Link light flashes 4 times per minute.

How can I troubleshoot and get this working again?

You say you "Lost Link" but then say the Link light flashes 4 times per minute.

LINK LED indicates communication is established between the base station and Haywards cloud server. This is different then the LINK light you find on a Cat-5 port. The LINK LED should be blinking on at least once a minute, usually 4 times per minute. That would indicate you have good communication with the Hayward cloud server.

Have you tried Hayward Tech Support?

Yes, I have tried Hayward Tech support but they only refer me to a dealer. None of whom have the technical skill to solve my problem.

The LINK LED is indeed flashing four times per minute. However, on my iPhone app it reports "Lost Link" and when I log into Aquaconnectweb.com an error message is there stating "Unit not communicating with cloud server for XX days, XX hours, XX minutes".

Sorry for the confusion.

Did your ISP or router change?

Did your DHCP DNS change?

What is your router?

What are your DHCP settings?

What re your default DHCP settings?

IP range, address mask, DNS?

The network setup looks fine and the LINK LED flashing says it thinks it si connected to the Hayward Cloud Servers.

Can you access the local Server using the ACHN's URL?

You sure that your account at the aquaconnect.com website has the correct MAC address for your box?

I can connect to the pool over LAN and am able to control the pool by doing so. I just can not get it to work over WAN.

I have tried reentering the MAC address and the aquaconnectweb.com just tells me that the ACHN is already assigned. I am at a loss.

See if you can find a Hayward dealer who has an Aqua Connect box they can loan you to swap in.

Everything sounds correct with what you control.

Well, well, well.

Yesterday my pump stopped working as it had tripped a breaker in the pool panel. I reset and the pump is now working fine.

After several years of trying to get my Aquaconnect system working with no help from Hayward (they are absolutely at the other end of the continuum from Customer Service) it now works just as it once did and should.

I guess the panel needed to be reset (re-booted) to get the Aquaconnect web to work again. I swapped out routers and modems changed service providers from Spectrum to Frontier and nothing worked.

Who would have thought that the pool control panel needed to be reset.
