Losing chlorine fast but no sun?

Just filled my pool for the first time four days ago and I can't keep the chlorine up even though my pool gets no direct sunlight and I've been adding stabilizer.

I'm using the full test kit and Pool Math. After a 1.0 chlorine reading yesterday, I added the recommended amount of 7.3% liquid bleach this morning which brought it up temporarily to 3.5. But tonight it's back down to 2.0.

I know the granular stabilizer I added this morning hasn't fully dissolved but it was at 35 before I added the chlorine so should it drop that fast?

I'm totally new to pools but my water doesn't look bad.

And we're leaving town Satuday for a week so I've got to figure out how to keep it steady while we're gone. Help?!

The sun and heat consumes 3-5ppm per day so theres not much you can do about that. You should be maintaining a higher FC amount so that if you lose 2ppm that you’re still above the minimum.
