I've been struggling with getting my spa heating to work as I want it to and wondering if moving the temp sensor would help?
Currently my spa overshoots the temp by about 3 degrees and then cools down too far before the heater comes back on. E.g. if I set my spa to 95 then the heater cuts off but the temp rises to 98 as water continues to cycle and then cools to below 95 before it kicks back on - the variation does not lead to a good spa experience.
My pool equipment is about 65' from the pool and my temp sensor is currently on the outlet side of my DEV60 filter.
Spa - 65' pipe - (pump - filter - sensor - heater) - 65' pipe - spa
Do you think it would help with the temp cycling if I were to move the sensor to just before or after the pump?
I can't move the PE and I don't really want to drill another hole for a sensor if that may not help.
Any help appreciated.
