Hi everyone, recently I had new pump installed. I noticed one of our two way Jandy valves was installed with the “in” side facing away from where the water enters into the line. It is a the line from my main drain. Is this an issue I need to have the installer come back out for? Or I does it not matter? Thanks!

A picture would help. "In" is arbitrary. It may have been positioned so that the stops on the lid would align with the water flow.
It comes in from the floor drain where the M is written. And the stops for turning the valve on and off aren’t “centered” with the pipe.

With a 2-way valve it makes absolutely no difference one way or the other. It is just fine the way it is.
