Jandy JXi 400 Heater Leaking

I've got water coming out of what I think is the barrell in my Jandy heater. I'm trying to work with Jandy/Fluidra on a warranty claim and while they are helpful, getting the actual service is proving to be difficult. The original PB and installer is not servicing it and it's proving to be near impossible to get another company to come out.

Is there anything I can check/fix on my own (assuming it's not something major, of course)?

Sounds like the leak is at the manifold or where the manifold bolts to the heat exchanger. Parts breakdown below:
 
I got the top panel off and still can't see where the leak is. I was able to determine that the leak is only happening when the heater is on, which makes sense because we've got the versaflo installed. I just found a video showing how to get the side panel off - I didn't realize that the trick was to slide it to the side after the screws were removed. Once I remove that, hopefully I'll be able to see where the leak is.
