Jandy Filter says Dirty after cleaning yesterday

i have a Jandy pool filter, model CL 460, it has 4 cartridges inside. i was able to clean the filter cartridges back 2/28/22 and the way the gauge is set, 10 is clean and 20 is dirty. after i cleaned the filters on 2/28/22, the gauge reading was more like 12-13. steadily over the past few months, its gotten closer to the 20 range. yesterday, 5/5/22, i cleaned all 4 filters thoroughly, rinsed manifold, O ring, everything and carefully put it all back together. now what im seeing is that gauge is still set on 20, in the dirty range. any cause for this?

Looks like algae to me. What does the pool water look like? More importantly, can you post a full set of water test results from either a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C test kit?

+1. If the gauge goes to zero when the pump is off, it's likely a chemistry problem and the filter is working awsome.

ok some update. when the pool is on pool mode, the gauge is more normal like around 13. when in spa mode (suck from spa, return to spa), it goes to 20 (dirty). any reason why?

The indicator of clean, dirty on the gauge, ignore them. Simply monitor filter pressure vs clean filter pressure at the same rpm. When filter pressure is 25% great than the clean filter pressure, time to clean the filter.
