I am having issues draining the pool I have a Coleman 20' Power Steel Comfort Jet Oval 48" Deep Metal Frame Above Ground Pool. I connected the pool drain hose adaptor and water begins gushing out, however when I attach the hose the water stops, not sure if its a pressure issue due to the hose type which is a FITT HiFlo 50ft Lightweight Blue Hose with Aluminum Couplings. The hose is slopping down to the drain, so the water isn't battling up hill, any thoughts? If its the hose I can always get a standard hose, but wanted to check before spending the money.

That is a collapsible hose so it is likely pinching off the flow. Those types of hose have a minimum PSI before they expand and the height of the pool will only produce at most 1.5 PSI which is not much. Use a ridged hose instead.
