Is my Pentair Intellivalve Actuator broken?

I'll try to keep this short...I've got a Pentair Intellivalve Actuator that allows me to automate filling my Glacier Pool Chiller. Cleaned out the chiller basin to prep for firing it up for the first time this year, however, when I activated the Pentair Intellivalve via my IntelliCenter automation panel, I expected the path to feed filtered water to the chiller but I noticed nothing was happening. In looking at the top of the valve actuator, I noticed a solid Service light and a flashing red Auto/Off light. I cannot use either arrow to manually rotate the valve open. I killed the breaker to see if it would reset, but still no luck. Attached a picture of what I currently see. As a stop-gap I just pulled this valve actuator and put the manual handle on there so I could get the pool chilling.

Has anyone encountered this before? Is it a lost cause? Will be significantly disappointed as this valve doesn't get too much use to begin with not to mention it was just purchased and installed sometime earlier 2021.

Thanks Allen, thanks Jim.

@Jimrahbe I did review the manual and just as a sanity check went out again to ensure it was not in service mode. While I can press the "Mode" button and move it back to Auto/Off (with green light) after a handful of seconds the device returns to Auto/Off flashing red and the Service light returns. I've created a case with Pentair awaiting their response. I would have expected if it was in Service Mode it would still allow me to operate using the Red & Yellow arrows, but at this point, pressing either of those buttons produces nothing.

Were you able to resolve this? I have a similar problem

Hi all. Just an update, as it happened again. This time, I was told the actuators are discontinued and received ones without all the light (just a switch) working fine so far.
Got the same old actuator you had. They were/are horrible. 2 broke to date. both recently installed. Glad they were discontinued
