Hello all,
Currently, I have single speed pump 1HP but I want to upgrade to variable speed pump. All of them only work on 230v except Hayward MaxFlo XE. Pool outlet output is 115v. Is it MaxFlo XE good option? Do you know any other suggestions?
My pool size is 15k gallons.

I'm not sure how many VSP models are out there at 115V. You do limit your selection criteria significantly with that requirement. Have you considered simply changing that 115V circuit to a 230V circuit? It's not terribly difficult for someone with some basic electrical DIY skills. A new double-pole breaker and some re-wiring back at the breaker box. Then labeling the original white neutral wire back at the pump with a color tag/tape to black or red to show it as another hot leg. That's what I'm going to end-up doing on my next pump replacement.

I thought of it but it is an extra step. The breaker is inside the house. So I need an electrician to create a new wire from inside the house to pool outlet.
