Ipool (Fitmax) isn't what it used to be -

I'm on my second Ipool 3, replaced the first one after about 5 years as the steel poles had rusted more than I was comfortable with - one of the corner pieces actually came apart in my hands as I disassembled the pool. As I have limited space I ordered another one - 5 years seemed a reasonable lifespan for a vinyl pool in the Southern California sun and it was just the right size to let me get my exercise. Up until a year or so ago I could send an email or make a phone call pretty much any time and Lawrence or Ray would answer very quickly. However, I sent an email about a month ago regarding a small leak in the liner of the new pool and received a reply from "Virginia" who asked for my order number - which I don't have as I bought this pool about 3 years ago and didn't keep the paperwork. I replied that I did not have the order number available and asked again what patch kit would work best with their product. Have received no reply to date. All I wanted to know was what kind of patch kit would work best with the Ipool - not asking for warranty service or anything. Apparently this was too much to ask. Disappointing.

I’ve never heard of an IPool, but I googled it. Looks like the vinyl might be a touch thicker than the norm, but any vinyl pool patch kit should work for a small puncture. Apply from the inside and you can even find glue that can be applied underwater.

Found this on their website:

Leaks are very rare because our liners are factory inspected and have five layers of protection. Nevertheless, accidents may happen and we have included a pool repair kit for your convenience. The glue that we use is a special fast acting adhesive designed for the fabric liner and will work even factoring in the pool pressure.

The pool does not need to be drained in order to use the repair kit. Please cut out one patch piece square, about the size of your thumb, apply the glue to the non shiny side of the patch and stick over the small leak point, holding it firmly for about one to two minutes. Then please cut out another patch piece that is bigger and wider than the first patch piece, place the glue on the non shiny side, and stick it over your original patch piece holding it firmly for one to two minutes. This second layer will serve as a reinforcement for your seal.
