Intex Pump electricity usage and worth running?

Does anyone know how much electricity an Intex 1000 GPH pump filter uses? I have a 15 foot pool and am running it the recommended 4 hours a day. From what I've heard these pump are quite weak and don't help that much. Wondering if I should run it more or less. My inflatable pool is less than 3,000 gallons so I wouldn't want to waste water, but it wouldn't be that big of a deal if I had to drain and refill it by the end of the season. Also, are there certain times of the day or cycles when it's more effective to run it?

Pump run time has little to do with water quality. As long as you have enough FC in the water and it is well circulated (10 min), there should be no issues with algae. Rest of the run time is for other things such as debris remove.

Thanks all. I'll probably run it for two 30 minute cycles each day as it doesn't seem to do much for debris removal. But the pool is so small, it's easy enough just to scoop it out. We've also been swimming in it for about an hour a day and make quite a few whirl pools.
